This weekend was a tremendous weekend for progress on the game!
I started off by adding something like 6 new ships. I also added several new weapons and improve the stats on existing ships and weapons. It’s really exciting to buy and arm a new ship and then exit the dock with updated firepower.
With lots of new ships and weapons, I had enough content that the options were overflowing the list boxes in the Station Menu (which was intended). So, I implemented scrolling in the boxes and made it really easy to add scroll capability to any list box.
But the biggest, most exciting thing was finishing and wiring up the “Warp to Sector” menu. This is how players get out of their home sector and explore the rest of the universe. Players can now bring up a list of sectors, choose a new sector, and warp in!
